Beyond the mats
Direct physician accessfor Cochabamba members.
We believe taking care of our athletes goes beyond providing great training.
Injuries, illnesses, and health questions don’t always happen at convenient times, and parents shouldn’t have to guess about what to do next.
That’s why Cochabamba provides eligible members with access to an experienced, board-certified Emergency Medicine physician for guidance when questions come up.
And Cochabamba covers the annual access membership.

Parents shouldn’t have to guess.
- Your child gets hurt during training.
- They wake up feeling sick before a competition.
- Something doesn’t look right after practice.
- You’re wondering whether an injury needs imaging.
- You’re trying to decide whether they should train tomorrow.
Or you’re simply asking:
“Does my child need to see someone?”
Those decisions shouldn’t fall on a coach, and parents shouldn’t have to figure them out alone.
You have access to a physician who can help guide the next step.
How it works.
- 01
Something comes up
An injury, illness, possible concussion, wound, rash, infection, or other health concern comes up during training, at competition, while traveling, or at home.
- 02
Reach out directly
Eligible members can contact the physician directly rather than navigating a call center or traditional scheduling process.
- 03
Get clarity
Receive personalized guidance about the appropriate next step, whether that’s monitoring the situation, seeking in-person care, discussing treatment when appropriate, or determining when it’s safe to return to activity.
- 04
Stay connected
If symptoms change or additional questions come up, reconnect for continued guidance instead of starting the process over again.
Coaches coach.Doctors handle medical questions.
Our coaches are here to develop athletes.
We can tell parents what happened during training. We can explain what we observed. We can modify training when appropriate.
But we’re not going to pretend to be doctors.
Medical decisions belong with qualified medical professionals.
By providing physician access to our members, Cochabamba is adding another layer of support around the athletes and families who train with us.
Support that travels with your athlete.
At practice • At competition • While traveling • At home
This isn’t only about injuries that happen inside our academy.
Questions can come up anywhere.
For our competition families especially, tournaments can mean weekends away from home and traveling throughout the region, across the country, and beyond.
Having access to physician guidance means there’s another resource available when the next step isn’t clear.

Common questions families face.
- Is this something serious?
- Can they still train tomorrow?
- Could this be a concussion?
- Does this need imaging?
- Should we go to urgent care or the ER?
- Can we monitor this at home?
- When can they safely return to training?
- What should we do if the symptoms aren’t improving?
Those aren’t coaching questions.
They’re medical questions.
Another level of support for our families.
Most families join a martial arts academy expecting coaching and training.
We want to provide more.
- High-level instruction.
- A structured training environment.
- Competition opportunities for athletes who want them.
- Coaches who know and understand your child.
- And now, access to professional physician guidance when your family needs help figuring out what comes next.

Included as a Cochabamba member benefit
We cover the annual access membership.
Rather than requiring eligible families to purchase the annual access membership independently, Cochabamba provides it as part of our commitment to supporting our athletes beyond the mats.
One more resource behind your child.
One less decision your family has to navigate alone.
This is Cochabamba.
